| | What kind of vacuum do you own? | | We own a Kirby G6 but it needs to be fixed it is not sucking up anything, and two small sharks. We also have a carpet steamer and our Kirby has all the attachments to do everthing short of cleaning the house by itself so I really need to get it to the Kirby dealer and get it fixed. I miss using it cause it is the best vacuum ever. So what kind do you have? Do you have more than one? | |

| | Wow! It does all that? OK now how do you turn it on? | | I had a very serious DUH moment this morning at about 7 AM. We bought a new kirby vacuum cleaner last night from my stepson. I have never owned or even used a Kirby in my life. I was against buying this vacuum to begin with until my stepson told me about what all it does. SOLD! LOL I was blown away! I never imagined a vacuum cleaner can do all of THAT! So we bought one and my hubby told me that I could "play" with it today and try it out.I was so excited this morning when I got up! I couldnt wait to play with my cool new toy. I got the manual and just skimmed through it thinking to myself "its just a vacuum how hard can it be to operate?" (Yes I looked at the manual like a man would, just glancing at the pictures LOL) I go in and get the vacuum, plug it in and go to turn it on......and I realise I dont have a clue where the power button is. I looked and looked and finally my 12 year old (who obviously had read the manual while I was looking) comes in and turns it on for me. I asked her how she did that and her reply was "I hit the switch mom, DUH"So to make this a discussion

A good use of those unwanted beer cans as long as he don’t drink and drive

| Listen to a presentation, get a carpeted room cleaned free | | Ok, I know its taking advantage of the system, but they knew I was doing this straight up and I got a room cleaned it was great....the Kirby vacuum people are going all out for their birthday/anniversary. And the more they do demostrations the more they sell.The poor gal I got was allergic to cats (I ahve one) Smokie didn't like the vacuum cleaner and stayed out of sight, but while vacuuming all the dust and everything else was being stirred up, and she was sneezing, so I gave her a claritin for here, and a benydryl for the road......But there is no way on this green earth that anyone is going to give me financing with our credit, but I met a great person from the area I moved from, and she is getting me in touch with a friend who is just starting homeschooling.But how I wished I could have bought one, they were good and looked sturdy. and built to last.Do you ever get something for watching a demonstration? Y'all got these cool cartoons and comic book characters.
Well, I wanted one too.
My take on Orion, calling myself O'Ryan actually came from this old dc comic book line from the 1970's. Jack Kirby's New Gods line he started when he made the jump from Marvel to DC. Characters included in this line were the New Gods of course, Orion, pictured here, Lightray, the Forever People, Mister Miracle and of course where would we be without Xena's idol and mentor, Big Barda.
So here's my new avatar for the moment.
I've always been a big comic book fan. I'm a Superman nut and now that technology has made it that you can adapt comic books to movies, I'm in hog heaven here.
So this is the new me, for the moment.
By the way, Chapter 12 of Photograph is about to come out.

| | I lost my puppy!!!! help here please.... | | hi guys! long time no hear and no show. i have been busy with my dad's business. and right now I'm grieving of my puppy's death. her name is missy, she fell off the bed and after a split of seconds she's unconscious and trembling. we're really shocked and my mom panicked, didn't know what to do. and we're all crying. she survived for less than 10 hours. she at least fight but i guess the fall is very bad. we are really sad and all crying. she was our first puppy but still we have 2 puppies kirby and boogy. we prayed for her soul. and right now i don't knwo what to do. i always cry everytime i remember her barks and kisses on my face. so sad.can you help me guys? what do you do to forget about the pain inside?
