myLot Discussions| Jehovah Witnesses Vs Kirby Vacuum Cleaner Salesmen | | One month ago I had a group of Jehovah Witnesses come to my house and also a kirby vacuum cleaner salesman, thankfully not on the same day. If you do not know who these Kirby people are, trust me good for you. Today I thought about that while I was working, and thought which one was a worse experience. So I made a list,
Both of them were unwanted, tie.
The Jehovah Witnesses brought the whole family to my door, I am guessing the parents and the two daughters. The Kirby salesmen, only two, advantage Kirby.
After the Jehovah Witnesses gave me their material they left. The Kirby people would not take no for an answer. My husband jokingly said to me, "Let me go get my shotgun." Point to the Jehovah Witnesses it is now a tie.
Neither one were pedaling anything I wanted, one a religion the other a overly priced vacuum cleaner. Still a tie.
So I need your help braking the tie by telling me which of these two are the worse to have knocking on your door. | |
| | Anyone who has a Kirby | | I got the kirby g4 off of e-bay. I used to try to sell those things twenty years ago. I think they are great but wasn't goin g to pay $1000 for one. A few years ago, I started going on e-bay to see if I could get one for a real low price. Afer about a month I found one for $50.00. Without the shampooer, but I found one of those for $20.00. But the bags are expensive, at least to me. Found a generic pack of bags for a pretty good price. Upon receiving them, I noticed how hard they were to put on. They didn't have the slots on the hole of the bags. But I always eventually got them on.
Until the last time.The other day, I decided to check the bag, it probably needed replacing. I opened the outer bag. What a mess! Dirt, pet hair. I started to pull it out and sand fell out onto my carpet. I thought I must have taken the last bag out and didn't put another one on. I took it outside and pulled out everything and as I was pulling out more dirt and pet hair, suddenly the bag came into view. I pulled it out and it was almost empty.I was out there for a half hour shaking the outer bag and wiping it down with a damp cloth and even now, if I were to... | |
| | Kirby Vacuum cleaners | | I recently purchased a kirby vacuum cleaner. They are probably one of the best and most exspensive vacuum's on the market. I am very impressed with how good it keeps my house clean. | | Kirby Vacuum | | I bought a Kirby a couple of years ago and love it. Is there anyone out there that knows in complete direction how to use the shampoo. I have tried it two ways. 1. I put the bubbles on the carpet like a foam and let it sit for a couple of minutes and then ran the machine over the bubbles to clean them up....it looked clean to me?... 2. I put the bubbles down and did nothing to the bubbles until they dissolved and dried, then I just vacuumed. The shampoo instructions are not clear to me on what to do. | | Do You Own a Kirby Vacuum? Don't Buy It You Will Regret IT! | | If you own a Kirby Vacuum do you like it or not? Do you like the way they do business? My experience with them has been horrible and if I were you don't ever get involved with this company. I received a post card that they would come to my house for a demonstration and clean two rugs for free no obligation to buy. So I decided ok I could get two rugs clean and don't need to buy anything if I don't wish too. Well this person came to my house and at the time my ex was living with me mainly because he is sick with emphysema. Well for 3 hours this man kept going on and on about this vacuum he was so persistent that my ex said I will pay for it each month. Well I was not happy that he caved in but he was going to pay for it what was I going to say. This vacuum is about 2200.00 dollars CRAZY! Well he then said he would do us a favor and bring the cost down to 1600.00 still CRAZY! Well needless to say my ex paid each month instead of 87.00 he paid $200.00 first months bill and $100.00 for another 6 months. Then he got extremely sick and had to go back to his home town. I continued to pay the bill another 6 months than lost my job. Now we paid all... | |
| | if you can be kirby what kind of kirby will you want? | | as we all remember kirby his main attack is inhaling his enemies and taking its abilities like fire, stone, sword, hammer, and many more but if I could be just like him I want to inhale an enemy with the ability of electricity or ice, I really dont remember what kind of kirby he will turn out but that abilities I want to inhale... Why electricity? Because I think I could kill my enemies with just a spark and blowing them just like a balloon, and Why Ice just to freeze them if they are close to me to stop them harming me and break them into pieces... but i just remember but im not sure...
